For me, a really great place to eat well and have a drink in a small group, everything is in order in terms of hygiene, a visit is a must when you're in Obernburg.

The waitress only commented in this regard, as "this is the case with a vegan burger without meat! They would always be like that in the pub." No apology. No "ok, I'll pass it on to the cook ....!" I had the veggie burger. The so-called homemade patty was more of a purple-colored mousse that was shaped into a patty, but spread out on the plate when trying to cut or bite the burger. The feta cheese was neither grilled nor heated, the entire burger was cold. Pity! There are points for the fries and the friendly service.

Could be one of my favorite restaurants. A very friendly and very well designed place with friendly staff and good German dishes, but the chef probably has a great love for salt.

Unfortunately, I cannot confirm the positive reviews. The 1/2 chicken gave the impression of being from the day before and was warmed up in the microwave, the warm-up time being chosen so long that the chicken was so dry and firm that it was inedible. As a second dish we had a lumberjack steak. After we had to complain that it was grilled too short and it went back to the kitchen, we only got half the original portion. Kudos to the nice wait staff, who responded very friendly to our complaints.

I had a liver plate for 21.50 euros. There is nothing wrong with the taste. However, I found that the price should also include a side salad. In addition, I had actually ordered the Lebepfanne for 14.50 euros. The waitress couldn't tell me what this looks like. My daughter noticed this mistake after paying. We then called the waitress again and pointed out the error. After I had asked whether the liver pan was being served in a pan, she informed me that she would not know either. She would have accidentally typed in the liver plate for 21.50 instead of the liver pan for 14.50. That's why I would have been served the liver plate. She then refunded me the 7 euros. The service was very polite and attentive to the guests.

Nice food and a large selection of local beers in a rustic atmosphere. At first the partly negative reviews put me off - a mistake. Because when I overturned my concerns in favor of a cool beer, I realized how foolish it was to avoid this location for so long. As I later learned, there was a change of tenant before my visit. In short, the food is fresh, tasty and attractively presented. We have been here several times at the time of these reviews. No matter what we chose from the diverse menu - it was always good to very good. Be it the great salad, the crispy schnitzel or the great roast pork - everything totally convinced us. Our guests were also thrilled every time. The staff is also friendly, helpful and very accommodating at all times. All in all, I can and would like to recommend a visit from the heart to everyone.

Were eating after hiking in the inn. The food was good, freshly made and fried to the point. The wine selected for this was probably open for a long time and tasted bland.
